Weaving a saree or any other kind of fabric is just a game of yarns; consider some warp yarns and some number of wept yarns. Buy interlocking warp and wept yarns you create a fabric.

It seems manufacturing a saree or any other fabric is this simple!

But it isn’t!!

It is a complex manufacturing process; let us look at the steps and processes we follow for producing sarees that you love.

Initially, we prepare the production design for the saree. Using computer software’s helps us preplan the designs we want for the saree.

48 inches is a standard width of sarees; considering this, we calculate the number of yarns required to produce saree. During this, we also consider the quality of the threads and the density of warp Yarns.

After calculating weft yarn requirements, we prepare a warp yarn beam to install the backside of the loom.

Once the design, planning and warp yarn calculation is done, there will be several technical things to be done on the saree manufacturing machine that is a loom. The loom will be set up and conditioned to produce pre-designer sarees.

Warp yarns from the beam installed backside the loom are pulled through the hurdles and read(loom parts), and warp yarns are kept under some physical tension.

After this using a part of the loom called shuttle, we interlock wept yarns between pre-installed warp yarns.

With the help of attachments to the loom, for example, Wooden gaada, Dobby, Jacquard, we able to weave sarees with attractive designs, for borders, inside the body, or on Pallu.

The raw materials we used for manufacturing define the quality of the saree, that is, silk saree, cotton saree, polyester saree etc…
